2018 IAOS Young Statisticians Prize till 15 February 2018

The Young Statisticians Prize is an annual international competition sponsored by the International Association for Official Statistics (IAOS) to promote the understanding and development of official statistics and encourage more young statisticians (those under the age of 35) to take an active interest in official statistics. The first-place winner will receive travel funds to present their paper at a session during the IAOS conference in Paris, France, September 19-21, 2018.

Submitters are encouraged to address and propose solutions to pressing methodological or strategic issues in official statistics at the regional, national, or international level.

Winning entries in previous years have spanned the United Kingdom, Bolivia, New Zealand, Australia, Germany and UNESCO. This year could be your country’s turn.

Please encourage and support all eligible young statisticians to submit their papers by the deadline of 15 February 2018.
